Litigation Associate

Robinson & Geraldo, a general practice law firm with over three decades of experience handling personal injury cases, workers’ compensation claims, and family law matters, seeks an entry level litigation attorney. The firm is located at 1316 Pennsylvania
Ave., S.E., Washington, D.C. (metro accessible), and near the Maryland and Virginia jurisdictional boundaries. The atmosphere of the firm is collegial but determined towards its mission of providing our clients with superior legal services on an individual basis.

The position requires drafting motions, interviewing, and preparing witnesses, deposing fact and expert witnesses, and handling discovery mediations, oral arguments, and trials. Prior litigation experience is required.

The ideal candidate welcomes increasing responsibility, enjoys novel work challenges, and manages a fast-paced workflow. The ideal candidate should be seeking meaningful work that impacts real people and looking forward to the opportunity of growing as an attorney, and with the firm.

The candidate should be licensed in Maryland and District of Columbia and must be in good standing with each jurisdiction. Experience in each jurisdiction is preferred.Admissions to the Virginia Bar is a plus.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be energetic, detail oriented and enjoy working with a team. The candidate must be organized and efficient and able to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks based on urgency and due dates.

Ability to speak Spanish and English is required. The firm represents injured workers, many of whom speak only Spanish.
